Derby Rules

  • Hitting the sides is not allowed unless it is in the area directly in front of the cage.
  • Front and rear hitting is preferred. At any time a driver touches the ground, they are done.
  • If any mower lands on its side, all drivers MUST STOP!! We will set the mowers back up, and if the mower restarts, they can resume the derby.
  • Numbers must be on the hood.
  • Remember, this is for fun. We don't want anyone hurt.

Personal Protection

  • A helmet, gloves, and a long-sleeved shirt are required.
  • A fire suit is recommended but not required.
  • Hall County officials have the final say on the day of the event.
