Grain Truck Race Rules

1. Each participant must be at least 18 years of age. No passengers will be allowed.
2. Drivers must wear a helmet, eye protection, and a seat belt during the race.
3. Drivers must remain inside their vehicle until they are notified by an official that it's safe to exit the vehicle.
4. No hot rodding in the pit area.
5. Doors must be shut securely at all times during the race. Any open door during the race will be cause for disqualification.
6. There is no alcohol or drugs allowed in the pit area. Any driver or pit crew caught with alcohol or drugs will be disqualified.
7. Front seats must be securely bolted to the floor with a secure functioning seat belt.
8. Vehicles are required to have a working fire extinguisher inside the vehicle during the race.
9. Vehicles must have full front bumpers. - Stock only
10. One fuel tank per vehicle. Mounted safely, securely, and not leaking to the chassis. All others must be removed, have visible drain plugs installed, or have a visible hole drilled through them.
11. Trucks must have the stock engine, cast manifolds, driveline, suspension, & tire size. No Headers.
12. Must have working brakes.
13. 2-ton trucks, single axle only.
14. All batteries must be secured under the hood. If the battery is relocated inside the cab, it must be secured to the floor and covered to protect the driver
15. Needs to have a complete wood or steel box, the width of the axles. Must secure the box to the frame rails on both sides with a chain or weld it to keep the box from moving
16. Split rims are allowed with the valve core removed from the outside duals.
17. Glass does not need to be removed. Mirrors can stay. Remove all lights.
18. Truck numbers need to be legible and displayed on both truck doors.
19. Helmet, Long sleeves, pants, and gloves are required to compete.
20. No reinforcing to any part of the truck or box.  It does not need a tailgate.

This is a race, not a derby. Entries are limited. You have to be present to participate!!
